Privacy policy

How INEQS handles personal data on this website, in accordance with the GDPR and the TDDDG.

This page explains what happens to personal data when you use this website. It is written to meet Articles 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and section 25 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG).

The short version

This is a brochure site. There is no shop, no login for visitors, no newsletter, no advertising and no social media tracking. We measure visits with Google Analytics, but only if you accept statistics cookies: say no, or ignore the banner, and nothing is loaded. If you never contact us and never accept statistics, we never learn who you are.

Who is responsible

INEQS Industry Equipment Supply, Marcus Kerry, Raiffeisenstraße 19, 55595 Weinsheim, Germany. Telephone +49 6758 8095710, email info@ineqs.com.

We are a sole proprietorship and are not required to appoint a data protection officer. Send any question about your data to the address above and it will reach the person who decides.

When you open a page

The site is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM, Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany, on servers in Germany. Like every web server, it writes each request to a log: your IP address, the date and time, the page you asked for, the page you came from, and your browser and operating system.

We do not read these logs as a matter of routine, do not build profiles from them and do not combine them with anything else. They exist so that the site can be delivered, attacks can be traced and faults can be diagnosed. ALL-INKL.COM deletes them automatically after a short period. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a site that works and stays secure, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

ALL-INKL.COM acts on our instructions as a processor under Article 28 GDPR. The data stays in Germany and is not transferred outside the EU.

Cookies

When you first arrive, a banner asks whether you accept cookies. Whatever you answer, we store that answer in a cookie so the banner does not reappear on every page. That cookie is set by the Complianz consent plugin, is read only by this site, and is the only cookie this site sets on its own.

Storing your consent choice is permitted without consent under section 25(2) TDDDG, because it is strictly necessary to deliver the thing you asked for. Everything else, meaning the Google Analytics cookies described below, is set only after you accept the statistics category. We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies at all.

The cookie policy lists each cookie by name. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer.

When you get in touch

If you email or telephone us, we process what you tell us: your name, your contact details, your company where relevant, and the content of your enquiry. We use it to answer you and, if it goes that far, to prepare a quotation and fulfil an order. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for steps taken at your request before a contract, and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for general enquiries that do not lead to one.

The quote request form asks for your name and email, and optionally your company, country, telephone, what you are looking for, what you print on and a description of the job. Only the name and email are required. Before you can send it you have to tick a box confirming you have read this page.

What you submit is emailed straight to us and is not saved in the website database. A copy of your own message is emailed back to you so you have a record of what you asked for. Mail is sent through our hosting provider’s mail server for ineqs.com and signed for our domain, which is what keeps it out of your spam folder.

Email is not encrypted end to end unless you encrypt it yourself. If you have something confidential to send, call us and we will agree another route.

The process video

One page carries a short video hosted on YouTube. It does not load when the page loads. You see a still frame and a play button, and nothing reaches YouTube until you press play. We use the youtube-nocookie.com domain, which holds back some tracking, but once the video runs Google receives your IP address and can set cookies in your browser.

The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google may pass data to Google LLC in the United States; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognised as adequate in July 2023. An appeal against that decision is pending before the Court of Justice. The legal basis for loading the video is your consent, given by pressing play, under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and section 25(1) TDDDG. What Google then does with the data is set out in its own privacy policy.

Website statistics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people actually read, so we know which products to explain better. We also count when someone sends the quote form or taps a phone number or email address, so we can see which pages lead to enquiries. It tells us nothing about you as a person and we never try to identify anyone from it.

The analytics code is loaded through Google Tag Manager, a tool that manages which measurement code runs on the site. Tag Manager itself sets no cookies, but loading it sends your IP address and browser details to Google, so it is treated exactly like the statistics and held back until you agree.

Neither Google Tag Manager nor Google Analytics loads until you accept statistics cookies in the banner. Before you answer, and if you decline, Google Consent Mode holds analytics storage at denied, advertising signals are switched off and no analytics cookie is written. Change your mind at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer and it stops within the same page view.

IP addresses are shortened before storage. We have not linked Google Ads, we run no remarketing, and we have not enabled Google signals or data sharing with other Google products.

Provider of both: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, which acts as our processor. Google may pass data to Google LLC in the United States, and is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, recognised as adequate by the European Commission in July 2023, with an appeal against that decision pending before the Court of Justice. Legal basis: your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and section 25(1) TDDDG. Google’s own privacy policy explains what it does with the data.

Stopping form spam

The quote request form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a real person is filling it in rather than a bot. In most cases it runs silently and you will not notice it. It does not ask you to pick out traffic lights, it sets no cookies of its own and it does not track you across other websites.

To do that check, Cloudflare receives your IP address, browser and some technical signals about how the page behaved. Provider: Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, with Cloudflare Germany GmbH in the EU. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in not drowning in automated spam, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Keeping the site secure

A security plugin limits repeated failed login attempts to the site’s administration area and records the IP addresses it blocks. Almost all of these are automated attacks. The records are kept only as long as the block is useful. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the site, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

What we do not do

To be explicit, because most privacy policies quietly do these and we do not: no advertising, remarketing or conversion pixels, no Google Ads link, no Google signals, no social media plugins or share buttons, no embedded maps, no chatbot, no A/B testing, and no fonts loaded from an external provider. The typeface and every script the page needs come from our own server. We do not profile visitors and we take no automated decisions about you within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.

Who else sees your data

Our hosting provider, as described above. Our email provider, when you write to us or send the form. Google, for the statistics you agreed to. Cloudflare, for the spam check on the form. Beyond that, only the people who need the information to do the job: a shipping company for a delivery, our tax adviser for an invoice, a bank for a payment. We do not sell personal data and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.

How long we keep things

Enquiries that go nowhere are deleted once it is clear nothing will come of them. Where an enquiry leads to a quotation or an order, German commercial and tax law sets the period: business correspondence is kept for six years and accounting records for longer. Your consent cookie expires after one year, or sooner if you clear it.

Your rights

Under Articles 15 to 21 GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, have its use restricted, receive it in a portable format, and object to processing we base on legitimate interest. Where processing rests on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time, which does not affect what was lawful beforehand.

Write to info@ineqs.com. We answer within one month.

You can complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in the country where you live, where you work, or where you think something went wrong. The authority responsible for us is:

Artificial intelligence

Some text and product illustrations on this site were drafted or generated with AI tools. Everything published here has been reviewed and approved by us, and we hold editorial responsibility for it. There is no chatbot or any other AI system on this site that interacts with you, recognises emotions or categorises people biometrically. If we add one, it will say so at the start of the conversation, as Article 50 of the EU AI Act requires.

Security

This site is served over TLS, which you can check by the padlock in your browser. We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, as Article 32 GDPR requires.

Changes

If we change how this site handles data, we update this page and change the date below. There is no version history, so the page you are reading is always the current one.
