Accessibility statement

How this website is built to be usable by everyone, and how to report a barrier.

We want this site to work for everyone who needs what INEQS makes, including people using a screen reader, a keyboard alone, magnification or high contrast.

Where we stand

We aim at WCAG 2.2 level AA. We are not there on every point, and we would rather list the gaps than claim otherwise.

What works

  • Every page can be used from the keyboard alone, and a skip link jumps past the menu to the content.
  • Each page has one main heading and the heading levels run in order, so a screen reader can navigate by structure.
  • Every image carries an alt attribute. Menu thumbnails are marked decorative on purpose, because the product name sits next to them and repeating it would be noise.
  • Every form field has a label.
  • Text and background colours are checked against contrast thresholds.
  • Pages reflow to a phone screen with no horizontal scrolling, and stay usable at 200 percent zoom.
  • Nothing moves, flashes or plays on its own. The process video loads only when you press play.

What does not, yet

  • The toner product graphics carry their firing ranges and colour names as text inside the image. A screen reader cannot read those figures, and they blur when magnified. We are moving the numbers into the page text beside each image.
  • The process video has no captions or transcript here.
  • The site declares American English while it is written for an international audience from a German company. A screen reader may pronounce some terms oddly.
  • We have not run a formal audit with people who use assistive technology daily. Automated checks and keyboard testing only go so far.

If something blocks you

Tell us what you were trying to do and where it stopped working, and we will fix it or get you the information another way. Email info@ineqs.com or call +49 6758 8095710. We reply within five working days.

If you need a firing range, a colour chart or a price in another format, ask. We will send it as plain text or large print.

The legal position

The German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), in force since 28 June 2025, covers consumer-facing electronic commerce: sites where you place an order and conclude a contract online. This site has no shop and no checkout, and INEQS is a microenterprise. On both counts the Act does not require this site to be accessible.

We are working on it anyway, because a customer who cannot read a firing range is a customer we have failed. This statement is voluntary and is not a declaration under the BFSG.

How we test

Keyboard-only navigation, browser zoom to 200 percent, an automated check of alt text, heading order, form labels and contrast across the main pages, and a review on a phone-sized screen.
