Tiles, porcelain, enamel and glass decorated with INEQS toner and fired by our customers.

A few examples of what INEQS toner looks like after firing. Tiles, porcelain, enamel and glass, printed as decals or direct to the surface, then fired by our customers on their own ware.

Want to see your own artwork fired on your own ware? Send us the file and tell us the substrate, and we will print a sample decal for you to fire.

What you are looking at

Every piece in this gallery was printed with INEQS ceramic toner and fired by a customer on their own ware.

  • Pool mural. Large murals are printed as one A0 decal or split across A3 and SRA3 sheets, fired in-glaze with an unfluxed set so the image survives chlorine and cleaning.
  • Bathroom feature tiles. Glazed wall tiles decorated with a decal fired into the glaze, as hard wearing as the tile itself.
  • Photo portrait on a ceramic tile. Photographic detail and skin tones, the most demanding test of a ceramic printing system.
  • Memorial plaque. A portrait fired into porcelain or enamel for outdoor use, weatherproof and UV stable for decades.

The same process decorates tableware, glass, enamel signs and industrial ware. See the applications for the toner set and firing range behind each one.

See your own design fired

Photographs on a screen only go so far. Send your artwork and tell us the substrate, and INEQS prints a sample decal for you to apply and fire on your own ware, or fires it for you and ships the finished piece.

How every piece here was made

The process behind each image is the same four steps. The design is printed on waterslide decal paper with ceramic toner, coated, soaked and slid onto the ware, then fired so the pigment fuses into the glaze, the enamel or the glass. The toner set is chosen for the substrate and the firing temperature it can take. Read the full process in how digital ceramic printing works.
